All captains carry their licenses onboard at all times, and our crew is trained to provide top-tier service, working tirelessly behind the scenes to create the best possible experience for our guests.
As of 2025, New York law requires all boaters to have a boating safety certificate. Our captains exceed this requirement, holding both the United States Coast Guard-approved captain’s license and a boating safety certificate. These credentials require:

No Hidden Fees
The price you see is the price you pay. All charters include fuel, crew, docking, and standard operating costs—there are no surprise charges.
Gratuity Not Included
Gratuity is not part of the package price. While not required, a 10–15% tip is customary for excellent service. Please see the Gratuity section below for more details.
Fixed Pricing Per Charter
All YachtiFi packages are priced per charter, not per person.
Per-person pricing is displayed for reference only and is based on a full group. The total package price remains the same regardless of how many guests join (up to the maximum allowed).
Example:
Tie Up Party – Standard package is $2,999 and allows up to 12 guests.
Whether you bring 2 or 12 guests, the full charter price is $2,999.
For a full group of 12, that breaks down to about $249 per person.
Cancellation & Weather Policy
Plans change—we get it. That’s why we’ve built a flexible and fair policy that works for everyone.
✔ Cancel 7 or more days before your charter and receive a full refund.
✔ Cancel between 3 to 6 days before your charter and receive a 50% refund.
✔ Cancellations within 72 hours of departure are non-refundable.
✔ Need to reschedule? We allow one complimentary reschedule with at least 72 hours’ notice (subject to availability).
Weather & Coast Guard Guidelines
Your safety is our top priority. All trips are subject to change based on weather and regulations.
✔ The Captain may cancel or reschedule a trip due to unsafe weather or Coast Guard advisories.
✔ If your trip is canceled for these reasons, you’ll receive a full refund or can reschedule at no extra cost.
✔ We’ll always keep you informed and make the best call to keep everyone safe.
Payment Terms
A simple payment structure, with no surprises.
✔ A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking to hold your date.
✔ Final payment is due 7 days before your charter.
✔ No-shows are considered late cancellations and are non-refundable.
At YachtiFi, we believe in transparency—no hidden fees, ever. However, gratuity is not included in your booking.
Our captains and crew work hard to deliver an unforgettable experience, and with a short season to do so, tips go a long way in recognizing their dedication.
✔ A typical gratuity is 15% of your booking.
✔ If you feel the crew did a great job, please consider tipping.
✔ Tips can be given to the captain at the end of your trip.

✔ Our yacht features two full bathrooms and two showers so you can freshen up and relax after a day at sea.

A Quick Note on Boating Etiquette:
✔ Only toilet paper should be flushed—everything else goes in the provided bins.
✔ This isn’t just a rule—it’s critical for protecting the yacht and the water.
✔ Flushing anything else can result in serious damage, hefty fines, and environmental harm.
